The American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR & AED class, a comprehensive course for the First Responder, is designed to teach CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) to all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in a workplace or school. This class covers Adult, Child, and Infant emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
The American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR class is designed to teach CPR and how to relieve foreign body airway obstructions. This class covers Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and choking emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
The American Heart Association First Aid class teaches first responders to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. This course provides training on first aid, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
The American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid with CPR & AED class addresses managing illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. Additionally, CPR and use of an AED on children from birth to eight years of age is covered. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
The American Safety and Health Institute Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) class includes information that will help students understand risks of exposure and how to reduce them for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.10.0) (One year certification issued upon successful completion)
