American Heart Association Heart Saver AED, a comprehensive course for the First Responder, is designed to teach CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) to all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in a workplace or school. This class covers Adult, Child, and Infant emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR is designed to teach CPR and how to relieve foreign body airway obstructions. This class covers Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and choking emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
American Heart Association First Aid teaches first responders to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. This course provides training on first aid, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid with CPR & AED addresses managing illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. Additionally, CPR and use of an AED on children from birth to eight years of age is covered. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
American Safety and Health Institute Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) includes information that will help students understand risks of exposure and how to reduce them for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.10.0) (One year certification issued upon successful completion)
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers is designed to teach the skills of CPR (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-valve mask device, and oxygen), use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO).
