First Aid teaches first responders to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. This course provides training on first aid, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon completion)
The American Heart Association First Aid Certification Course is the choice for companies, manufacturing environments, and construction companies looking to train employees as part of a first response team. This class is also appropriate for lifeguards, camp counselors, and personal trainers. The class is approved for 0.6 CECs for American Council on Exerciese (ACE) certified trainers and instructors when taken along with the CPR & AED Component.
Anybody wanting to know the basics of first aid, including parents and other family members will find this class of benefit.

This class can be conducted as a stand-alone class or in conjunction with CPR, AED, and/or Blood Borne Pathogens training.
