Course components and combinations can be customized as appropriate for
your organization. Our standard curriculum for First Response Team Members includes the following components:
- Heart Saver CPR & AED, a comprehensive course for the First Responder, is designed to teach CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) to all lay rescuers. This class is particularly designed for those who are expected to respond to emergencies in a workplace or school. This class covers Adult, Child, and Infant emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon successful completion)
- First Aid teaches first responders to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. This course provides training on first aid, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies.

certification issued upon completion)
- Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) includes information that will help students understand risks of exposure and how to reduce them for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.10.0) (One year certification issued upon completion)
Each component can be conducted as a Stand-Alone class or together as a
Full Response Training.
