The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers class is designed to teach the skills of CPR (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-valve mask device, and oxygen), use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) for adults, children, and infants. (Two year certification issued upon completion)

Healthcare Providers with a current, unexpired certification card may opt to take the standard class or the online course with a skills evaluation.
