Heart Saver CPR & AED, teaches CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). This class is appropriate for people who are expected to respond to emergencies in a workplace or school. This class covers Adult (8 Years +), Child (1-7), and Infant (under 1) emergencies.
This class is appropriate for anyone needing CPR certification but who is not in the healthcare field or attending a healthcare-related program of study. This class meets DCFS requirements for adoptive and foster parents.
(Two year certification issued upon completion) 3 Hour Class
This class provides the credential needed by:
- Adoptive Parents & Foster Parents
- First Response Team Members
- Lifeguards
- Personal Trainers
- School Personnel
Additionally, members of the general public will find the skills covered in this class of interest.
