children - 1 - 7 years of age
adults - age 8 and over
This class will give you the required Infant / Child
certification for DCFS and is valid for for 2 years.

Pediatric First Aid with CPR & AED addresses managing illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. Additionally, CPR and use of an AED is covered. (Two year certification issued upon completion.)
This class meets DCFS Requirements and NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accreditation Requirements for daycare providers and other childcare workers. This class is also open to parents, family members, and babysitters. .
