American Heart Association Infant CPR covers CPR & choking procedures for infants up to 1 year of age. 

This class is a good option for friends and family members who may be caring for newborns.  Older siblings are welcome to attend with a parent. 

Please note, however, that this class will not meet the needs of adoptive and foster parents which require both infant CPR and Child / Adult CPR for ages 1 and above.  Please see the Heartsaver class if you need certification to meet DCFS requirements. 



Pediatric First Aid with CPR & AED addresses managing illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. Additionally, CPR and use of an AED is covered.  (Two year certification issued upon completion.)

This class meets DCFS Requirements and NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accreditation Requirements for daycare providers and other childcare workers.  This class is also open to parents, family members, and babysitters. .

Infant & Child  CPR and/or First Aid can be conducted as a private class for individuals, couples,  families or child care professionals.
