The following classes can be conducted for individual students, couples, families (children are welcome) or small groups at times of your choosing to accommodate your schedule.
* The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers class is designed to teach the skills of CPR (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-valve mask device, and oxygen), use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) for adults, children, and infants. (Two year certification issued upon completion $85)
* Heart Saver CPR & AED, a comprehensive course for the First Responder, is designed to teach CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO) to all lay rescuers. This class is particularly designed for those who are expected to respond to emergencies in a workplace or school. This class covers Adult, Child, and Infant emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon completion $85)
* First Aid teaches first responders to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. This course provides training on first aid, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. (Two year certification issued upon completion $85 alone; $135 w/ BLS or Heart Saver AED / CPR)
* Emergency Response Seminars Pre-Emergency Seminars help members of an Emergency Response Team prepare to handle an emergency before it happens, addressing the role of anxiety, the physical demands, and decision-making under duress. Post-Emergency Seminars help responders address the immediate, or lingering, stressors in the aftermath of an emergency. (certification issued upon completion, Pre- @ $90 and Post- @ $110)
* Holistic "Ki-Do" Self-Protection 1 & 2 teaches both physical and non-physical techniques of self-protection. The acquired skills, strategies and techniques will help you develop more self awareness of your surrounding so as to quickly assess and respond for a safer outcome. (certification issued upon completion, Lv. 1 @ $90 and Lv. 2 @ $140)
We schedule private classes by appointment on weekdays and weekends. Day and evening times are available.
