Ioana Jucan is an American Heart Association BLS instructor certified in CPR for all ages and emergency use of an AED. She is studying nursing science with plans to become a medical doctor.
Ioana is fluent in English and Romanian and is capable of providing lucid explanations in Spanish as well. She has extensive ESL tutoring experience.
Ioana's special personal commitment is to help her students overcome language barriers and learn to save lives by performing correct CPR and using an AED.

Susan Fudala is an American Heart Association BLS Instructor including First Aid, CPR, and emergency use of an AED. She holds a degree in health science.
Susan has over 25 years of experience in management and training for major corporations including Dominicks, Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts.
Because of her commitment to the American Heart Association's mission to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke, she is now focusing on using her experience in training to help others save lives.

John Codd is a licensed clinical social worker and a certified addictions counselor. With over 15 years of experience in the field of health and wellness, John has recently worked in the Chicago public school system counseling youth on a variety of stress-related issues. John is certified as a medical hypnotherapist and maintains a busy private practice at LightCare Medical Spa.

Sarah Mechem serves as Assistant Lead Instructor. She is an American Heart Association BLS instructor certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and the emergency use of an AED.
Sarah is currently a post-baccalaureate pre-med student at Loyola University. She graduated in 2001 with a degree in business management from the University of Northern Iowa. Formerly, Sarah was employed as a project manager for a Chicago-based advertising agency.
James Harvitt serves as Lead Instructor. He is an American Heart Association BLS Instructor including First Aid, CPR, and emergency use of an AED. Jim is ACLS certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and was Valedictorian of his EMT program. He is currently licensed in Illinois to provide emergency medical services.
In 2006, Jim was trained and certified as a Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning Instructor by the Illinois State Board of Education in concert with the Illinois Terrorism Task Force. Jim is qualified to conduct orientation sessions, in-service training workshops, and provide technical assistance in developing emergency and crises response plans based upon FEMA’s National Curriculum.
In 2000, Jim completed Advanced Clinical Training in Mind/Body Medicine at Harvard Medical School Mind/Body Medical Institute under the direction of cardiologist Herbert Benson, M.D.
At LightCare Medical Spa in Chicago, Jim practices integrative medicine in association with emergency room physician Michael D. Green, M.D. For Pure Med Spa at 840 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Jim serves as Director of Holistic Medicine. Jim's practice includes anti-aging medicine, acupuncture, medical massage and other modalities that have been scientifically proven to promote healing through the mind/body connection.
Michael Green, MD serves as Consulting Medical Director. He graduated from the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine in 1992. After achieving board certification as an Emergency Medicine Specialist, he completed coursework in Aesthetic Lasers at Lasertrolysis of Naples, Florida in 2000. He is a specialist in Anti-aging and Functional Medicine and practices at LightCare Medical Spa.
Dr. Green is a member of the Medical Spa Society, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, The American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
