Pre-Emergency Response Workshops helps members of Emergency Response Teams prepare to handle an emergency before it happens. This workshop address the role of anxiety, the physical demands of responding to an emergency, and decision-making under duress.
Post-Emergency Response Debriefing helps responders address the immediate, or lingering, stressors in the aftermath of an emergency. Specific techniques and strategies are taught to alleviate any unwanted thoughts, feeling, or memories. This workshop can be arranged for individuals or groups of responders.
Our Pre- and Post- Emergency Response Programs were developed by J. Martin Raine-Okubo, M.A., D.Min.
J. Martin has over 20 years of experience in counseling, coaching, teaching, and emergency psychiatry. He holds a Master's Degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychology, a Doctoral Degree in Ministerial Counseling, is a member of the International Association of Coaching and a Practitioner Member of the American Holistic Health Association. J. Martin is also a certified Instructor of CPR, First Aid, and Advanced First Aid / Emergency Response.
